In 2018, I was privileged to receive a Churchill Fellowship to travel to the USA and UK to learn about showrunning practices from some of the industry’s leading writers and producers.
It was a fascinating 8 week journey and changed my approach to creating television. I hope to discuss these findings further with my local industry and put them into practise with future projects.
You can read my report about what I learned here – https://www.churchilltrust.com.au/fellows/detail/4305/Nicholas+Verso
Huge thanks to everyone who helped initiate meetings and so generously gave of their time and contacts.
And a special thanks to Peter Ritchie, Isabel Pappani and the rest of the team at Australians in Film who provided me with office space at Charlie’s in Los Angeles to write my report.
